The Northeast Preschool Area comprises 13 preschools and is the largest geographical preschool area in Gävle Municipality. We work for and prioritize equality in our area, and the preschools collaborate in various quality networks. Common to the area are also our prioritized focus areas - pedagogical actions and pedagogical environments in a thematic and process-oriented working approach. We are recruiting preschool teachers for several preschools in the northeast area: Lindbacka, Varvaterassen, Källbacken, and Älvgården. The staff at Lindbacka works in larger work teams and in different positions throughout the day. This enables children to meet various ways to explore, be challenged, and develop. 6 position(s). JOB DUTIES Are you a pedagogical preschool teacher who wants to contribute to children's learning and development? We are looking for you—an engaged, positive, and driven preschool teacher who is passionate about your role and about pedagogical development work. Your job duties include: • Together with your colleagues in the work team, you have primary responsibility for education at the preschool. • You plan, conduct, document, follow up, and evaluate activities in accordance with established goals and guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A degree from a preschool teacher program and preschool teacher certification with authorization to teach in preschool and preschool class. Or a degree in January 2027 from a preschool teacher program. • Knowledge of and familiarity with the preschool curriculum. • Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing. • Knowledge of and experience with working with digital tools. Merits if you have experience with: • AAC and/or TAKK • Children with special needs.
