Job Description Would you like to be part of the development in Söderköpings preschools? We are now seeking an engaged preschool teacher positioned at Mogata Preschool during the school year 2026/2027. After the end of the school year, we will review your placement within Söderköpings preschools. We want our preschools to be safe, welcoming learning meeting places that children, families, and educators look forward to. The preschool is a place where we build sustainable relationships that awaken joy and a desire to explore and investigate. An exploratory approach is something we greatly value, where children and educators together deepen their understanding of various questions, thoughts, and phenomena. Through pedagogical documentation and based on an exploratory approach, you are responsible together with your colleagues for conducting education in accordance with the goals in governing documents. As a preschool teacher, you have special responsibility for the education. The work team meets regularly for shared reflection and follow-up of goals together with the principal. We also have various types of networks for professional development and collegial learning. Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience in the profession and who is a licensed preschool teacher. You want to help us further develop Söderköpings preschools. In your role as a preschool teacher, you have good knowledge of the preschool's mission and are well acquainted with the preschool curriculum and other governing documents. Based on that, you have the ability to adapt your teaching to the children and let them participate in shaping the teaching and education. In a quality-conscious manner, you create good conditions for children's development and learning. You contribute with enthusiasm, knowledge, professionalism, and work joy. You are confident in your professional role and have good ability to meet each individual child's needs. You actively contribute to creating a good work climate and good cooperation with children, educators, and guardians. You put children at the center and work as a collaborative explorer by being genuinely curious. You are flexible, responsible, and have the ability in practice to see the whole organization and all children's best interests. If you have experience working in an exploratory manner with pedagogical documentation as a tool, that is a merit.
