Måttsunds Preschool is located 2 miles south of Luleå, within walking distance of forests, meadows, and Måttsund School. We have a beautiful outdoor and indoor environment that encourages play and learning. Our approach is characterized by joy, community, and cooperation. We see each individual child and plan, implement, and evaluate education based on the interests and conditions of each child. Planning is based on the preschool's governing documents. We place great emphasis on ensuring that all children feel a sense of belonging and the community that comes with it. Our preschool consists of three departments with close cooperation between them. WORK DUTIES As a preschool teacher, you play a crucial role in children's development and well-being. You will have a multifaceted role and work closely with childcare staff and other personnel at the preschool to create a safe, stimulating, and accessible education for the children. Your main duties include: • ensuring that goal-driven processes occur and, together with childcare staff, conducting teaching where children's participation and influence are central • ensuring that teaching at the preschool takes place in accordance with the goals in the curriculum • planning, implementing, and developing teaching together with your team and for the entire preschool • ensuring that the preschool's learning environments offer variety where children can further develop their abilities in an accessible learning environment for care, play, movement, health, development, and learning You work to create safe and trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are trained and authorized as a preschool teacher with the qualifications to teach in preschool and have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have professional experience from working in preschool or if you have knowledge of one of our minority languages or another language. As a person, you need to be organized and able to plan, organize, and complete your work. To succeed in the role, it is required that you have the ability to meet different children's needs, create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues, and that you value cooperation and strive for common success. Also important is your creative ability to think in new ways when needed. If you become a candidate for the position, you will need to provide a valid extract from the criminal record.
