We are seeking a dedicated, child-loving, certified preschool teacher for our preschool with a music and theater profile in Gamla Stan. We want you to have a special interest in working with expressive forms such as dance, music, rhythm, drama, language, and creative activities. Start date fall 2026, by agreement. The position is offered at Preschool Kling & Klang Gamla Stan, located at Norra dryckesgränd 4 in a 17th-century building. We have 15 children ages 1-5 years. Our team consists of preschool teachers, childcare assistants, an art pedagogue, and a director. Those of us working at the preschool have specialized expertise in aesthetic expressive forms, and we hope you have a strong interest or competence in working with aesthetic expressive forms. As a preschool teacher, you will share certain responsibility for the facility together with the assistant director and director. For us, it is important to be professional and see inclusion as natural, as well as to view all children as competent. The preschool is privately run. There are three preschools total in the organization. We collaborate between units, share substitute staff and help each other between facilities, maintain a shared information and material bank where we share best practices, take outings together, and combine resources during summer and Christmas. The preschool's pedagogical approach is Reggio Emilia with a music and theater profile. Priol Kling & Klang was recognized in 2014 as one of the city's best examples for its work with music, dance, and theater. We want the preschool teacher to have the following qualities: * A good understanding of children and be a present pedagogue * Valid preschool teacher degree and certification * See systematic quality work as interesting and necessary * Can plan, document, follow up, and develop your teaching * Be a good administrator and organizer * Have good knowledge of the Preschool Curriculum, School Act, other governing documents, and general guidelines * Good computer skills and can document children's learning through various methods * Flexible and responsive * A good colleague * A positive and engaged person who is stable and empathetic * Valid extract from the criminal record and suspicion register * Recognize the importance of good cooperation between preschool and home A plus if you have the following knowledge: * Are familiar with the Reggio Emilia pedagogical philosophy and preferably applied it in previous work, and have worked as a pedagogical leader * Have worked with music and theater, can sing, play an instrument, or are interested in music and dance * Drama pedagogue * Multilingual We offer you, among other things: * Great influence and participation in preschool decisions * Free pedagogical meals * Coffee during breaks * Working in a developmental workplace * Motivated colleagues * Work clothes * Professional development Start date: Fall 2026, by agreement.
