The preschool is organized with age-divided departments. Through age-appropriate, inspiring, and varied environments, we support and challenge children's play, exploration, and learning in different ways. We also see the outdoor environment as an important learning space. Bensbyn Preschool is part of the Björkskatan preschool area. We have close collaboration between all preschools in the area. Principals and educators work together on many different issues with the aim of developing not identical but equivalent education for all children. Collaboration is based on educators meeting in different constellations of networks, learning from each other to acquire and deepen new knowledge. We lead each other together. Based on current development areas, joint professional development is offered to all educators, with workshops, literature seminars, and lectures. You can also participate in one of our focus groups, which is responsible for deepening, developing, and sharing specific knowledge. We work with a project-based approach with a common project title, together with children's curiosity. Project-based work is characterized by listening educators who design exploratory teaching that both challenges and encourages children's innate strength and curiosity. For us, aesthetic forms of expression are important tools for children's learning in both projects and everyday teaching. At Björx, a pedagogical counselor and a pedagogista work to support and challenge educators' learning processes. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a preschool teacher, you play a crucial role in children's development and well-being. You will have a multifaceted role and work closely with childcare workers and other staff at the preschool to create a safe, stimulating, and accessible education for the children. Your main responsibilities include: • ensuring that goal-oriented processes occur and, together with childcare workers, conduct teaching where children's participation and influence are central • ensuring that preschool teaching takes place in accordance with the goals in the curriculum • planning, implementation, and development of teaching together in the work team and for the entire preschool • providing learning environments at the preschool that offer variety where children can further develop their abilities in an accessible learning environment for care, play, movement, health, development, and learning You work to create safe and trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is educated and licensed as a preschool teacher with authorization to teach in preschool and who has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have professional experience from working in a preschool or if you have knowledge of one of our minority languages or another language. As a person, you need to be organized and able to plan, organize, and complete your work. To succeed in the role, you must have the ability to meet different children's needs, create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues, and value collaboration and strive for common success. Also important is your creative ability to think in new ways when needed.
