Barnsjövägens Preschool is a nature-focused preschool in eastern Lindome, within walking distance to forest, playgrounds, and library, with excellent commuting connections by bus and train. The preschool consists of two departments on two floors for children ages 1-5. We are a literature-focused preschool, which means we work with a year-long fairy tale as the foundation for our teaching. The literature focus allows children to have abundant access to literature and imaginative experiences. We actively work to give play and storytelling a central place in our education. Our operations are part of a pedagogical unit together with Sinntorps Preschool. Together with them, we have a shared organization for development work, professional development, team meetings, and study days. JOB DUTIES We are looking for a preschool teacher with a professional approach and the child's best interests in focus. This position is for 1 preschool teacher on a temporary basis. We are looking for someone who places the child's best interests at the center of their work and has a professional and responsible approach. You have the ability to work with a development focus and lead education together with colleagues based on current guidelines and the activities' goals. As a preschool teacher, you will have the opportunity to participate in pedagogical networks where reflection, analysis, and experience-sharing between departments and units are a natural part of systematic quality work. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications We are looking for someone who is educated and licensed as a preschool teacher. For us, it is important that you are driven with a positive attitude toward organizational development. Great weight will be given to personal suitability, where qualities such as good conduct and a great deal of curiosity are important. You take responsibility for your own and shared work tasks. You must have good collaboration skills, be responsive, and communicate well, while also having the ability to bring others along in the pursuit of commonly established goals. Your ability to explain problems and information to different audiences and from different perspectives is good both verbally and in writing.
