We are looking for a preschool teacher for our special preschool, which is a unique activity for children with multiple disabilities, where we work with fewer children and higher staff ratios. Here, each child is given the opportunity to develop based on their own abilities, in an environment that stimulates all senses and encourages play, curiosity, and movement. We work with a focus on strengths, at a calm pace where each child gets the time they need, and as education is the focus, care naturally follows. Collaboration is central, both within our unit and with other parts of the preschool. You lead the educational work together with colleagues in a committed team. Together, you plan, implement, document, and follow up on education based on the preschool's curriculum. You build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are also attentive in your approach and show respect and care for others. You understand that children have different abilities and learn in different ways. Based on that, you create a safe and developmental environment where each child gets the opportunity to develop at their own pace. To succeed and thrive in the role, you need to be independent with high standards, take your profession seriously, and be able to lead yourself and others in the organization. For this position, experience working with children with multiple disabilities, medication management, tube feeding, and/or track is a merit. It is also a merit if you have experience with TAKK and working in a Reggio Emilia-inspired way.
