About the Operation
At Södergårdens Preschool, you will be part of an engaged and well-functioning organization where we learn from and with each other. Together we work to create a safe, developmental, and joyful education where each child's best interests are at the center. The preschool's process group leads the shared development work based on the activity plan's prioritized goals, which creates participation, structure, and a clear direction in the pedagogical work.
The preschool is centrally located in Trandared, approximately two kilometers from Borås city center, with good bus connections. There are six departments in large and functional facilities. Three departments have children ages 1-3 years and three departments have children ages 3-5 years.
Södergården has a large and varied outdoor area that offers both forest environment and traditional yard environment. It provides excellent opportunities for play, exploration, and outdoor learning. Food is also prepared in the preschool's own kitchen.

Responsibilities
In your role as a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, leading, organizing, documenting, and following up on pedagogical work, both independently and together with your team. The work is based on the preschool's governing documents and the prioritized goals in our activity plan.
You lead instruction and contribute to creating a safe, accessible, and exploratory learning environment characterized by reciprocity, respect, and collaboration. Together with your colleagues, you create a positive and developmental education where care, development, and learning form a whole.
To give you good conditions to succeed in your role, we offer pedagogical development time, both individually and together with colleagues. This time is used for planning, reflection, follow-up, and in-depth analysis of the education based on established goals.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and who want to be an important part of children's education, development, and learning at Södergårdens Preschool.
You have a positive outlook, a reflective approach to work, and a clear commitment to the preschool's mission and governing documents. You are curious about children's thoughts, discoveries, and expressions and actively work to make their voices heard and visible in the education.
We appreciate if you think innovatively and contribute to developing both the instruction and the team and the operation as a whole. You collaborate easily and communicate well and see the team's different experiences, knowledge, and competencies as a strength. You contribute to an open work climate where colleagues learn from and with each other.
You have a professional and respectful approach when interacting with children, guardians, colleagues, and other collaboration partners. You are solution-focused, take responsibility, and have the ability to build good relationships.

Within the Preschool Administration, we offer free pedagogical lunches, work clothes, and as a preschool teacher you also have on average five hours of planning time per week.
