About the Operation Skattkistans Preschool is located in Sjöbo in Borås and consists of approximately 100 children distributed across five departments - two younger children's departments and three older children's departments. With us, you will have the opportunity to help shape inspiring learning environments with a special focus on our language development approach. A prioritized development area is children's language and communication, where through play and language-rich environments we create conditions for children to encounter language daily in different contexts and forms of expression. We also have close collaboration with Sjöbo Library to awaken and strengthen children's love of reading. We are happy to bring our language work out into our nearby, nature-rich environment. With proximity to, among other things, Trollstigen in Sjöbo and surrounding forest, we use nature as a natural part of our pedagogy, where both play and teaching have a place. The preschool's outdoor area is also equipped and offers a stimulating outdoor environment suitable for both play and planned instruction. A distinctive characteristic of Skattkistans Preschool is our conscious work with approach and interaction. We care that children and guardians feel safe with us, something we create through good and trusting relationships. Skattkistans Preschool is also part of a unique collaboration with Borås Zoo. Through this collaboration, we want to strengthen children's empathy, compassion, and responsibility for both people and animals - values that permeate our operations. Job Responsibilities As a preschool teacher with us, you have a central role in planning, implementing, and following up on instruction. Documentation is a natural part of the work and is used as a tool for reflection and development; we use Unikum as our learning platform. Together with engaged colleagues, you create a safe and stimulating whole where care, development, and learning go hand in hand. We value collegial learning and see your experiences and competencies as an important part of our shared development. Through various forums, you are actively involved in the operation's development work, where we learn from and with each other to maintain high quality in education. In your assignment, you take your starting point in play-responsive instruction when you participate, planned or spontaneously, in children's play - an area that we jointly develop in the work team and that is part of our professional development. Together in the work team, you are responsible for creating learning environments that awaken children's curiosity, desire to explore, and joy in learning. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher and who wants to help develop an operation where children's best interests always come first. You are warmly welcome to apply whether you are newly graduated or have several years of experience in the profession. It is an advantage if you have experience working with creative and joyful learning environments where aesthetic forms of expression are highlighted.
