Hummelsta Preschool is a newly built preschool beautifully located in Hummelsta town. The preschool has capacity for 144 children and currently has approximately 110 enrolled. We work with age-homogeneous groups and follow the children throughout their entire time with us, which creates security and continuity. We have a safe and stable staff with low staff turnover. Together we actively work to continuously improve the quality of our operations, where preschool teachers are a strong contributing and driving force. A language-strengthening approach based on Före Bornholm always forms the foundation of our systematic quality work. During the coming school year, we will also deepen our work in mathematics and further develop activities in our well-equipped ateliers. As a preschool teacher with us, you are responsible for leading your work team and being an active part of our management group, with a focus on development and learning throughout the preschool. RESPONSIBILITIES As a preschool teacher at Hummelsta Preschool, you have overall responsibility for leading, planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in accordance with the preschool curriculum. Your tasks include: • Leading the pedagogical work in your team, with a focus on teaching, care, and learning in accordance with the curriculum's goal areas. • Creating accessible, safe, and stimulating learning environments for an age-homogeneous group of children, where children's participation and influence are central. • Work on language and knowledge development based on Före Bornholm, and integrate language in all daily situations and activities. • Actively participate in the preschool's systematic quality work (SKA), where you are responsible for continuously documenting, analyzing, and evaluating your department's teaching and development, and implementing results in continued planning. • Contribute to developing teaching in mathematics and creative activities, including through pedagogical work in our ateliers. • Collaborate closely with colleagues in both your team and management group to drive the preschool's pedagogical development forward. • Have professional and attentive collaboration with guardians and clearly communicate children's learning and development. • Be flexible and solution-focused, able to adapt and adjust your work methods and planning based on the children's needs and current circumstances.
