We are seeking a certified preschool teacher for Eskilstuna Outdoor Preschool Tumbo Do you want to be part of developing a safe, educational and nature-based preschool where children's curiosity and joy of discovery are at the center? Then you might be the one we are looking for. Eskilstuna Outdoor Preschool Tumbo is located in Tumbo, a town in Eskilstuna municipality adjacent to Kvicksund. The preschool offers a safe, exploratory and inspiring environment where children's learning and development are in focus. The preschool has room for 45 children and works in three to four age-grouped classes to meet each child's needs and development level. As the foundation for our work, we use the preschool curriculum. Safety is the foundation for all learning and we actively work to ensure that every child feels seen, affirmed and valued. By taking advantage of children's initiatives and interests, we strengthen their self-esteem, participation and desire to learn. We are also inspired by ICDP – International Child Development Programme (Guiding Interaction). ICDP aims to strengthen the interaction between children and adults and create good relationships that promote children's social, emotional and cognitive development. We are members of the Swedish Outdoor Association and conduct an outdoor-focused activity with the Forest Friend profile. We spend time outdoors every day and see nature as an important learning environment where children have the opportunity to develop knowledge, motor skills and environmental awareness. We serve nutritious food that gives children good energy and a solid foundation for a healthy lifestyle. Our meals are prepared from scratch with pure ingredients and without refined sugar. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, responsive and have a professional approach. You are development-oriented and see systematic quality work as a natural part of the mission. You have the ability to plan, implement, document and follow up teaching based on the curriculum's goals. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that teaching is based on scientific evidence and proven experience. We are looking for an educator who inspires, challenges and supports children in their learning and contributes to a positive and professional work environment. Together with the work team, you drive pedagogical development forward and work to ensure that every child has the best conditions to develop and learn. Employment Terms The position is a permanent employment with an introductory probationary period of six months. Scope: 100% Earliest start date August or by agreement.
