As a Research Nurse at the Clinical Trials Unit at Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping, you will become an important part of an engaged team that drives clinical studies for better cancer care.
The Role of Research Nurse
As a Research Nurse, you are responsible for initiating, planning, and conducting clinical studies – both drug trials and academic projects. You collaborate with responsible investigators, physicians, research staff, and other colleagues within the tumor group.
The role includes informing and enrolling patients in studies, planning and monitoring patients' participation, and managing study medications, blood samples, and biomarkers. You are also responsible for documentation and entry of study data in CRF systems (various databases).
You participate in monitoring visits, investigator meetings, and startup meetings, and take part in contract negotiations and budget work. An important part of your assignment is to develop the unit's working methods and contribute to our regional and national research networks.
We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date by mutual agreement. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday through Friday.

Your Profile
To be considered for this position, you are a licensed nurse with experience in clinical work, preferably within oncology or other research-related activities. You have good computer skills and training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP). You must also be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. We consider it a bonus if you have experience working on research projects, sample handling, or data collection within CRF systems, as well as experience interacting with cancer care patients.
