About the job As a research coordinator at Grants Office, you work closely with researchers at Linköping University and provide qualified support in the process of seeking external funding, with a particular focus on the EU's research and innovation framework programs such as Horizon Europe. You will become part of the support for researchers who contribute to the university's work to increase participation in international research initiatives and increased external research funding. The role is multifaceted and involves both guiding researchers in designing competitive applications, primarily to Horizon Europe, but also to national funders. We are looking for someone who thrives in an advisory role where you can use your ability to manage complex processes involving many stakeholders. Examples of work tasks: Provide qualified support to researchers in applications to the EU's research and innovation framework programs and other prioritized funders. Coordinate and conduct seminars and internal training. Monitor and analyze calls and policy developments within EU research funding. Serve as a contact person with the European Commission and other relevant funders. Contribute to the development of internal processes and procedures to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in EU projects. At the same time, you are self-directed and take responsibility for your tasks, with an ability to structure and prioritize your work efficiently. You have a holistic perspective and see how different parts connect, which allows you to navigate in changing contexts and identify opportunities even when circumstances shift. You have excellent collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others, contributing with a constructive and respectful approach. In addition to the personal abilities and skills described above, we want you to have: Doctoral degree Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish It is a merit if you have: Experience with EU applications, particularly Horizon Europe Good knowledge of the international research and innovation landscape Experience with research funding in an advisory role Experience in managing your own research projects and having sought/received research funding Your workplace Grants Office is part of the Research and Innovation Support Division, FINA, at the University Administration.
