About the Job We are looking for someone with a master's degree in neuroscience to work on a project about children's social well-being during the transition from preschool to school. This study is conducted at Linköping University as a partner in an international research program and examines how social well-being can support the transition to school. The work will include: project coordination recruitment of participants data collection (questionnaires, behavioral experiments, fNIRS) data management data analysis About You We are looking for someone with a master's degree in neuroscience. We also want you to have: a strong interest in human research in the neuroscience field experience with experimental work, particularly with preschool-aged children experience with behavioral tasks including child-directed testing methods and fNIRS strong knowledge of fNIRS data analysis methods very good knowledge of English and Swedish in both speech and writing, this is a requirement as you will be in an international environment and will need to communicate with Swedish-speaking children experience handling confidential information You should be thorough, have strong initiative and organizational skills, as well as well-developed communication skills. Furthermore, you are responsible, engaged, and able to work independently while maintaining good collaboration skills. Since the work involves contact with research participants (children and parents), it is important that you have an empathetic approach and are calm and stable as a person. Great weight will be placed on personal qualities and suitability. Your Workplace You will work at the Center for Social and Affective Neuroscience (CSAN). CSAN integrates knowledge and methods from different areas of neuroscience, both basic and clinical. CSAN brings together research groups within adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, neurobiology, clinical neurophysiology, and neuroeconomics.
