Research Engineer in Quantum Computing for Computational Fluid Dynamics
Duties We are seeking a research engineer in quantum computing for computational fluid dynamics for the Department of Computational Science and Technology. You will contribute to research on novel computational methods for fluid dynamics, with an initial focus on quantum-inspired techniques such as tensor networks and tensor network-based machine learning. Subsequently, you will investigate how these methods can be reformulated and implemented on quantum computer systems. The work encompasses method development, software development, numerical experiments, and comparisons with established methods in computational fluid dynamics. Work within courses and other educational activities at the department may also be included. Qualifications Requirements Master's degree in computer science, data analysis and artificial intelligence, computational science, applied mathematics, or equivalent competence. Applicants who have completed coursework of at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 higher education credits at an advanced level, are also eligible. Strong proficiency in Python programming.
