Kemikum, with more than 200 employees, is one of the largest departments at Stockholm University. Research at Kemikum spans all areas of chemistry including analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, inorganic and structural chemistry, and organic chemistry. The research projects are numerous, ranging from theory to experiment, from pure basic research to more applied projects often with a focus on sustainable chemistry as well as advanced analytical methods for chemicals and materials. Kemikum has a very well-developed research infrastructure with extensive equipment and qualified support from research staff. Kemikum also hosts chemistry education at the bachelor's level and three master's programs: analytical chemistry, sustainable chemistry, and organic chemistry. Doctoral education is conducted in five areas: analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and organic chemistry. More information about us is available at: Kemikum Responsibilities Your responsibilities will consist of characterizing spin transition phenomena in various coordination polymers based on nitroprusside compounds using diffraction and magnetic measurements, as well as assisting with work on writing an article. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a master's degree in chemistry and experience with spin transition phenomena and nitroprusside materials. You must be able to work in a laboratory and have knowledge of diffraction and magnetic measurements. About the Position The employment is full-time and is limited to a maximum of 12 months. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.
