Responsibilities
The electrification of heavy transportation requires next-generation charging infrastructure that can deliver fast, efficient, and reliable charging while supporting future grid services through vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology and mobile energy storage.
This project focuses on design, modeling, control, and hardware development of fast charging systems for heavy electric vehicles. The research encompasses high-performance power electronic converters, system-level modeling, control strategies, grid integration, and coordination of mobile energy storage.
This project is funded by Innovationsverket in collaboration with the City of Stockholm, Hitachi Energy, Vattenfall, and others.
Qualifications
Requirements
Completed doctoral degree or equivalent foreign degree in electrical engineering
Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: power electronics hardware, design of EV charging converters, or EV charging management
Knowledge of diversity and equal treatment issues with particular focus on gender equality
Collaboration skills
Independence
Meritorious
Experience with hardware development
Strong publication record in leading IEEE transactions
Strong self-motivation in research
