Researcher in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

We are seeking a researcher for a research track that addresses the industrial context of green and sustainable transition in Sweden with emphasis on technology development, investment decisions, and entrepreneurship. Research results are developed in close collaboration with industry and societal stakeholders. Field Description Entrepreneurship and innovation encompasses organizational development with particular focus on business development based on innovative products, services, production solutions, or ways of leading and organizing operations. Project Description The research aims to understand the emergence of and consequences of entrepreneurship within green and sustainable transition. Examples include investment decisions in various types of sustainable technologies, ecosystems around these, strategic choices, various types of hype and bubbles, and the positive and negative consequences when bubbles in the form of massive investments burst. Responsibilities You will work in a research group and conduct scientific work in collaboration with others. This includes data collection and analysis as well as writing scientific articles together with others. Your main areas of responsibility as a researcher include: - Authoring scientific publications, including data collection and scientific writing. - Coordination with project partners in academia, industry, and the public sector, both nationally and internationally. - Planning and organizing workshops, meetings, and joint activities. - Commercialization of research results through, for example, course development. - Supporting the research team with data collection, analysis, and publishing. - Contributing to funding applications and national/international research initiatives. - The position also includes teaching, supervision, seminar participation, and presentations at national and international research forums. Qualifications To be eligible for employment as a researcher, a doctoral degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation or a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a doctoral degree is required. You should have documented scientific competence within innovation and entrepreneurship with documented experience of having published at least at ABS level 3. Additionally, documented experience with case studies, including qualitative data analysis, is required. Your research background should be in entrepreneurship and innovation or a related field. Experience with sustainability issues, for example through transition studies, sustainability alliances between companies, and sustainability work within companies is also a requirement. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to present research results at academic events. Furthermore, you must have good language skills in English and Swedish. English should correspond to at least level C1 and Swedish at least level B2-C1. It is meritorious if you have experience with stakeholder relations with regional and industrial partners. Experience in publishing in practice-oriented journals with relevance for business and presenting research results at practice-oriented conferences is also meritorious.
