We are now seeking a Parish Priest for the newly established ministry area of Kinnekulle-Källby, which comprises these two congregations. The work team includes priests, educators, musicians, a deacon, a deacon assistant, a sexton, and parish assistants. As Parish Priest, you will be the head of the work team with personnel responsibility, operational responsibility, and budget and authorization responsibility. You will be part of the pastorate's leadership group and have a special responsibility to coordinate work and operations in the pastorate together with the Parish Priest for the other ministry area (Götene-Husaby) and the Dean. As a parish priest, you will work with customary pastoral duties. You will meet many volunteers, several of whom are trained preachers. On the Dean's assignment, you will be a member of the parish council. You will also participate in and provide clerical expertise in the pastorate's confirmation team. In other words, a varied position in a wonderful setting! You should therefore: · have a solid interest in leadership · be a sounding board for the Dean · take preaching seriously and have strong liturgical knowledge · be interested in meeting people, especially confirmation candidates · be able to balance between tradition and renewal in a wise way · naturally be able to collaborate with others and, if needed, across the entire pastorate · have access to your own car · independently navigate, collaborate, and communicate via MS Teams and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other software used in your role. Meritorious qualifications include: · having completed or being willing to complete Dean training · having experience in management positions. We hope you will settle in the pastorate.
