You are responsible for investigation, administration, and dialogue with individuals and cooperation partners In your role as an insurance investigator with a focus on in-depth investigation, you will handle applications for sickness benefits. This may include ongoing documentation as well as calculations and disbursements of compensation. You work actively and make independent decisions regarding the right to sickness benefits by correctly and lawfully applying legislation and established work processes. The work involves conducting qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, particularly medical certificates. As an insurance investigator, you investigate and clarify rehabilitation needs and work together with other actors such as healthcare providers and employers to help the individual return to work as soon as possible. You work in a differentiated manner, with emphasis on early interventions based on the individual's unique situation and needs. You meet individuals and cooperation partners by phone and in writing, as well as in digital meetings when needed. You provide and explain comprehensive information based on the individual's specific needs. Your interactions are characterized by attentiveness, respect, and a desire to create a sense of security and understanding of sickness insurance for individuals and cooperation partners. You collaborate with your colleagues and actively work to develop your knowledge, share experiences, and cover for each other when needed.
