Efficient Investigations and Professional Customer Contact As an insurance investigator, you are a state employee with the task of conducting investigations to ensure the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. When working with care allowances, you interact with parents who have children with special care needs due to illness or disability. In your work with extra cost compensation, you interact with individuals who may need help with additional costs for daily living due to disability. In your work, you make assessments through qualified investigations and analysis of documentation, primarily medical reports. You then present recommendations for decisions to be made by designated decision-makers. Contact with individuals occurs via telephone and in writing. You gather information and collaborate with, among others, healthcare and municipal services. As an insurance investigator, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness. Certain positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be hired for such a position, a passed security vetting according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
