You are responsible for investigation, administration and dialogue with individuals and collaborative partners In the role of insurance investigator with a focus on in-depth investigation, you handle applications for sickness benefits. This can include ongoing documentation as well as calculations and payments of compensation. You work actively and make independent decisions about the right to sickness benefits by correctly and fairly applying legislation and established work processes. The work involves making qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, particularly medical certificates. As an insurance investigator, you investigate and clarify rehabilitation needs and work together with other actors such as healthcare and employers to help the individual return to work as soon as possible. You work in a differentiated manner and the work is characterized by early interventions based on the individual's unique situation and needs. You meet individuals and collaborative partners by phone and in writing, but also in digital meetings when needed. You inform and explain complex information based on the individual's specific needs. Your contacts are characterized by attentiveness, respect and a desire to create security and understanding of sickness insurance for individuals and collaborative partners. You collaborate with your colleagues and actively work to develop your knowledge, share experiences and cover for each other when needed.
