Effective investigations and professional customer contact As an insurance investigator, you are a state employee tasked with investigating to ensure that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. When working with care allowances, you contact parents who have children requiring special care due to illness or functional disability. In your work with additional cost compensation, you contact individuals who may need help with extra expenses for daily living due to functional disability. In your work, you make assessments through qualified investigations and analysis of documentation, primarily medical reports. You then present recommendations for decisions made by designated decision-makers. Contact with individuals occurs via telephone and in writing. You gather information and collaborate with, among others, health and medical services and municipalities. As an insurance investigator, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness. It is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility.
