Case Handling, Customer Contact and Teamwork As an insurance case handler, you have an important mission: to help citizens so that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. You give individuals the ability to have an overview and feel secure in all contacts with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Each individual has a unique situation and needs to be met based on their specific needs. In your work, you are responsible for conducting investigations based on applicable regulations. You calculate and, where applicable, make decisions regarding compensation. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have high security awareness. You have daily contact with applicants and insured persons in writing and by phone. Part of your work involves answering incoming calls where you identify needs and provide general and specific information. Your work also includes informing and providing support in our self-service systems. When you work with maintenance support, you encounter situations where children live with only one parent and the other parent is to pay child maintenance. You support parents in managing maintenance themselves, but if that doesn't work, the child may be entitled to maintenance support. You are the case handler for both parties and you inform and guide them both in a life situation that can be difficult and complex. In your work, you come into contact with other actors in society who handle matters concerning children, housing, and financial circumstances.
