Occupational Therapist at Forsåker Rehab
Description:
Forsåker Rehab is seeking an occupational therapist Forsåker Health Center and BVC is a growing health center in Mölndal with a focus on teamwork, quality, accessibility, and patient care. Here, success comes from the group, not the individual. We want to be the nearby health center with a big heart. In April 2024, we launched Forsåker Rehab in the same facility as our health center, and we continue to develop the business. Through close collaboration between the health center and rehab, we want to create a holistic perspective around the patient and offer good and accessible care. Here work doctors, psychologists, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, rehab coordinator, administrators, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. We work closely together in teams and share responsibility for our patients' care. We believe in working thoughtfully and use smart IT systems and digital care when needed. We are LGBTQ+ certified and strongly believe in continuity, both for patients and staff. The Position We are now seeking an occupational therapist who wants to be part of a developing and rewarding phase at Forsåker Rehab. We would prefer part-time work, but other arrangements can be discussed based on the needs of the business and the preferences of the right candidate. As an occupational therapist with us, you will meet patients of different ages with varying needs. We are especially seeking someone interested in, and preferably experienced with, working with mental health, stress-related issues, activity balance, and rehabilitation in primary care. You will be an important part of our close collaboration between rehab and health center, where assessments and case management often take place in teams and in consultation with doctors, psychologists, physical therapists, rehab coordinators, and other professionals. Your tasks may include: Assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation on an individual and group basis Interventions for stress, mental health issues, and activity-related problems Activity assessments and support with daily structure, recovery, and balance Assistive device prescription Hand rehabilitation Memory assessments Collaboration with other professionals and external partners Home visits With us, there are good opportunities to shape the role of occupational therapy at the clinic, both in direct patient work and in developing our methods. The role also involves contributing occupational therapy expertise in the team's joint assessments, particularly regarding activity, function, stress, recovery, and daily balance. Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist. Experience from primary care is an asset, but not required. The most important thing is that you have good interpersonal skills, a professional approach, and want to contribute to a well-functioning business. We would especially like someone with an interest in mental health, stress-related issues, activity balance, and rehabilitation. Experience or further training in, for example, stress rehabilitation, mental health, conversation methods, or similar is meriting. As a person, you are confident, flexible, and engaged. You enjoy working both independently and in close collaboration with other professionals. You appreciate teamwork and see the value in discussing patients with complex needs together. As we are a growing business, we value that you want to contribute both to the development of the clinic and to a good work environment with us. What We Offer A good work climate with strong team spirit A workplace where we work closely together and help one another Opportunity to influence and develop the work Close collaboration between rehab, health center, and BVC Generous employee benefits, such as gym access and shared breakfasts Large and bright facilities with a well-equipped gym adjacent to the health center Modern IT systems and digital care platform An LGBTQ+ certified workplace that values continuity for both patients and staff Application Selection and interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. We apply a probationary employment period. We welcome your application!
