About the department
FörsA is part of the logistics unit that supports units within Umeå garrison with their logistics support needs, where supplies and material maintenance are the two main areas. The Supply Department supports, among other things, areas such as supplies, fuel, waste, ammunition, goods and transport, and currently consists of a service section, a weapons & ammunition section, and a goods & transport section.

Main work tasks
As a warehouse manager at the goods and transport section, you will primarily focus on and be responsible for fuel handling within Umeå garrison as well as work with mobilization preparations. You are responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying and delivering Swedish Armed Forces materiel in the agreed quantity and quality. You will also provide support in training conscripted fuel soldiers.
Work tasks include, among other things:
Carry out fuel supply within Umeå garrison by working with refueling, quality inspections, establishing refueling points, reporting and maintaining fuel stocks.
Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with BVKF regulations.
Conduct inventory of supplies in internal systems.
Handle materiel, handling equipment and facilities, as well as vehicle maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent competence acquired in working life or through equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent.
Good computer skills and ability to work in digital environments.
Good communication skills and ability to express yourself in Swedish, both in writing and orally.
You have B, BE & CE driver's licenses
Personal qualities
We are looking for someone who is organized, orderly and has a sense of service. Meeting people should be a matter of course, and you express yourself well in speech and writing. You will work in a group, so we would like to see that you can collaborate well with others and have good camaraderie, but also be able to work independently and take your own initiative and responsibility. As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, thorough and loyal.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
MERITORIOUS
You are a manager or assistant manager of BVKF or civilian equivalent.
ADR training certificate with tank authority.
You have many years of experience driving large vehicles on the road (truck with trailer, tank truck with trailer, articulated truck with semi-trailer).
Many years of documented experience in warehouse/logistics.
Experience with Swedish Armed Forces operations, materiel and material processes.
Experience with Swedish Armed Forces' establishment of war units and Total Defense's mobilization preparation activities.
Experience working with the Swedish Armed Forces PRIO (SAP) and LIFT.
Forklift and wheel loader operator certificate.
Other information
Employment form: Permanent employment. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probation period for those not employed by the agency.
Employment degree: Full-time.
Place of work: Umeå, business travel during daytime may occur.
Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
