As a staff member has moved on to a new role internally, we are now seeking a new negotiation lawyer for Hyresgästföreningen region Northern Scania. The position is based at our beautiful office in central Helsingborg. Your Assignment As a negotiation lawyer with us, you will be a central player in both our legal work and our negotiations. You drive and investigate complex legal issues while leading negotiation delegations and negotiating with counterparts. You work closely with elected representatives and members, where you both communicate our positions and coordinate work within the delegation. An important part of the role is to engage elected representatives in both legal analyses and negotiation processes. Monitoring of external developments in housing matters and housing policy is also part of the work. Your Background To fit in as a negotiation lawyer, you are a driven and self-directed person who thrives in a leadership role and has an easy time taking responsibility and building trust. You have strong analytical skills and a systematic approach, while being confident and able to focus even in pressured situations. Collaboration is important in this role as you need to work closely with elected representatives, members, and colleagues. As a negotiator, you are service-oriented and communicative, both orally and in writing. You have experience in examining, investigating, and handling legal issues and can naturally switch between legal work and negotiation. We are looking for you who: hold a law degree have experience in legal work can independently manage and handle legal matters are analytical and development-oriented have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with others We consider the following to be particularly meritorious: Experience with procedural matters from the rent committee, district court, or equivalent. Experience representing a party in negotiations or legal proceedings. Previous work in the real estate and housing industry. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
