About the Role Would you like to help create safe, inclusive, and meaningful meeting places for young people in Malmö? As a manager, you are responsible for leading and coordinating daily operations at Fryshuset's youth centers in Folkets Park and Seved. You play a central role in creating structure, quality, and good conditions for both young people and staff members. The role is both operational and coordinating. One moment you are in the middle of the activities with young people and colleagues, the next you are working on planning, staffing, follow-up, or collaboration with external partners. You are a present leader who creates safety, direction, and engagement in everyday work. With us, you don't lead from a distance—you are an active part of the operations and an important carrier of Fryshuset's core values. The position involves day shifts, evening shifts, and some weekend work based on operational needs. Responsibilities As a manager, you are responsible for: - Leading and coordinating daily operations at our meeting places in Folkets Park and Seved - Planning, allocating, and following up on work within the team - Ensuring functional staffing, scheduling, and structure in operations - Working closely with the target group and actively contributing to activities with young people - Creating safety, participation, and good relationships for both young people and staff - Managing administration, documentation, and ongoing operational follow-up - Collaborating with schools, social services, associations, and other relevant partners - Contributing to the development of operations in line with Fryshuset's mission, goals, and core values Who Are You? Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - Post-secondary education in areas such as social work, pedagogy, behavioral science, youth leadership, or leadership - Experience with work management, coordination, or operational leadership - Experience planning and coordinating staffing, scheduling, or daily operations - Experience with administration, planning, documentation, and operational follow-up - Target group-focused experience working with young people in areas such as youth activities, youth work, social services, or education - Strong ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with a solution-oriented approach - Strong ability to build relationships, foster trust, and be a secure adult - Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends It is a merit if you have: - Experience from a youth center or other open youth activities - Experience supervising operations with hourly staff or varying staffing needs - Experience collaborating with schools, social services, associations, or other local partners - Experience with budget follow-up, procurement, or basic financial responsibility - Experience from mission-driven or values-based organizations What We Offer We offer meaningful work where you have the opportunity every day to make a difference for young people and contribute to a safer and more inclusive society.
