Family Home Consultant who makes a difference for children and families! We are now looking for a dedicated family home consultant who wants to be an important part of our work supporting family homes and creating sustainable placements. About the Position As a family home consultant, you have a central role in recruiting, assessing, and supporting family homes. You follow families throughout the entire placement period and serve as a trusted support for both family homes and commissioning organizations. Your responsibilities include: Assess and evaluate family homes. Provide support, guidance, and advice to family homes during ongoing placements. Participate in follow-up and collaboration meetings with municipalities and other partners. Plan and conduct training, lectures, and family activities. Contribute to creating the best conditions for children's development and well-being. Participate in the matching process You work from your home and plan much of your own workday. Travel is a natural part of the position as you regularly visit family homes and attend meetings. During your introduction, part of your training will take place at one of our offices. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to social work and who is motivated to make a real difference for children and families. We believe you will succeed in this role if you: Feel confident working independently and taking personal responsibility. Have strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills. Are flexible and enjoy a varied work environment. Are attentive, empathetic, and maintain a professional demeanor. Build trusting relationships with family homes, commissioning organizations, and colleagues. Communicate well both verbally and in writing. If you have personal experience as a family home, we consider that a merit. Qualifications We are looking for someone with: A degree in social work or equivalent higher education. At least 2–4 years of experience working in family home care. A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle (required). We offer a company car/service vehicle after 6 months.
