About the role: As a car mechanic at Fordonsservice Halland, you will work with varying tasks within service, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles. Your main responsibilities will include: Service and maintenance of passenger vehicles Troubleshooting and diagnostics Repairs of engine, brakes, chassis, and other mechanical components Replacement of wear parts and preventive maintenance Documentation of completed work Quality checks and ensuring that work meets the highest standards Who are you? We are looking for someone who is confident and independent. You are motivated by solving problems, enjoy working with your hands, and take great personal responsibility for ensuring the car leaves the workshop in top condition. Since the role involves customer contact when needed, it is important that you are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. Qualifications: Several years of experience working as a car mechanic (required) Vehicle technical training or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience Good experience working with modern diagnostic tools and troubleshooting systems Class B driver's license (required) Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing What we offer: We offer a secure employment with an authorized staffing company with a collective agreement, competitive salary, and good terms.
