Automotive Mechanic Wanted - On-Call Position with Full-Time Opportunity

Kastberga MC is growing – and now we're taking the next step! We're moving to larger facilities in Eslöv, and as part of the expansion, we're also opening a modern car and tire service center at the same location as Kastberga MC. That's why we're now looking for an automotive mechanic for an on-call position, with excellent opportunities for a permanent full-time position for the right person. We're building the operation from the ground up and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of it from the start. Initially, the work will be adjusted based on needs and the volume of jobs coming in, but our goal is for the business to grow and for the right person to eventually transition to a permanent full-time position. 🔧 Who are we looking for? We're looking for someone who: Has experience working as an automotive mechanic Holds a Class B driver's license – required Is thorough and quality-conscious Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks Is solution-oriented and enjoys troubleshooting and finding solutions Has professional and friendly customer service skills Is flexible and can help where needed A Class A driver's license is a plus, since we also operate Kastberga MC and there's an opportunity to work with motorcycles for those with interest and knowledge. ⭐ Quality over quantity We won't try to be the cheapest shop. Instead, our goal is to be the shop where customers feel confident that the work will be done properly. We believe in giving mechanics the time that's actually needed to do the job right. Thoroughness, quality, and customer satisfaction will always take priority over simply doing as many jobs as possible in the shortest time. 🕐 A flexible arrangement The position starts as an on-call role, which means working hours are adjusted based on the business's needs. For example, this suits you if you: Want to work extra alongside other work Want the ability to influence how much you work Want to start small and then increase your hours Are retired but still want to stay active, meet nice colleagues, and use your experience a few hours a week Retired professionals with extensive experience in the trade are of course warmly welcome to apply.
