Ref: 20261868 We are looking for a dedicated and responsible employee for our operations as a street sweeper machine operator in Parks & Equipment. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will primarily work with mechanical street sweeping of streets, plazas, bike paths, and other public areas. The work is performed with various types of sweeping machines and may also include other work tasks within the operation as needed. You are expected to handle machines in a safe and responsible manner and contribute to keeping our shared spaces clean and well-maintained. Examples of work tasks: Operation of sweeping machine Daily inspection and basic maintenance of vehicles and machines Documentation and reporting via digital tools Support with other work tasks within the department We are therefore looking for a person who is flexible and enjoys varying work tasks. The position involves work according to a schedule of 38 hours and 25 minutes per week. Work is conducted throughout the year including weekend work according to an established schedule. Qualifications Requirements Class B driver's license Documented machine experience or experience operating work machines, construction equipment, or similar vehicles Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Basic technical understanding and experience using digital tools such as tablets or mobile phones in daily work Desirable Class C driver's license Experience with sweeping machines or similar vehicles Experience working in traffic environments Work on the road Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is responsible, thorough, and has a strong safety mindset.
