WORK DUTIES
As a vehicle workshop mechanic/repair technician, you will work with varied tasks such as servicing and maintenance of vehicles in many different categories (tractors, wheel loaders, cars, lawnmowers, etc.), vehicle equipment, motorized hand tools, tire changes, minor sheet metal and paint damage repairs, vehicle pre-inspections. Perform welding work with wire, pin, and gas welding. You should have good knowledge of workshop and vehicle mechanics. Planning and ordering of service, inspections and spare parts for various vehicles. During winter, you participate in an emergency team for snow and ice management.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with experience from similar work and with knowledge as broad as possible of the different work tasks.
As a person, you are social, positive, and able to quickly adapt when urgent matters arise. The work places great demands on self-drive, the ability to work independently, service-oriented mindset, and maintaining high quality in the work you perform.
Education
· Completed upper secondary education.
Meritorious
· Category E driver's license
· Hot work certification
· Road work experience
· Chainsaw operator certification
· Experience operating tractors, equipment carriers, and wheel loaders
· Completed wheel loader training
· Basic computer skills
· Experience in public sector work
· Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting of modern vehicles
· Experience with tire service
Previous experience, your personal qualities, and suitability are valued highly.
Category B driver's license is required.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
