About Salico Salico supplies the Scandinavian market with fresh cut vegetables, fruit, bread products and meal solutions, under our own brands such as Daily Greens and SallaCarte as well as as a contract manufacturer. We have approximately 300 employees and our factory is located at Långeberga in Helsingborg. About the role As a continuous improvement leader, you will have a broad and central role in our continued development. We have a strong foundation to stand on through a modern facility, skilled employees and established working methods. But we know that there is always more potential to tap into in the form of increased efficiency, reduced waste and even sharper maintenance work. You will be the one who ties that work together, discovers where the next opportunity lies and drives through changes together with colleagues throughout the organization. In other words, you get plenty of room to make your mark and really make a difference. Our products are fresh, and customers can place orders the same day the goods are to be delivered. This places high demands on speed and flexibility in operational management – and as a continuous improvement leader, you have an important role in helping production find solutions, structure and improvements even when the pace is high. Since we are a food producer, quality and hygiene are also a natural dimension in everything we do, and something that should always be weighed in the solutions and improvements you drive through. The role includes, among other things: Further develop our maintenance work according to TPM principles, together with maintenance and production teams Identify and leverage improvement potential related to waste and losses in production Initiate and lead efficiency-improving activities and projects, from idea to implemented results Help production find solutions and structure in everyday operations, even when orders and priorities change rapidly Be out in production (gemba) to capture opportunities that are not always visible in the numbers Set up clear follow-up metrics that make the progress visible Spread best practices and lessons learned between shifts, departments and functions Ensure that quality and hygiene are always considered in the improvement work being carried out Work closely with colleagues in maintenance, production, quality and management to reach common goals Who are you? We believe you are a person who thrives best when you get to create structure where none exists today. You are hands-on, like to be close to reality and have an easy time getting others on board – whether it is an operator on the floor or a colleague in the management group. We are looking for you who have: Experience in improvement work, TPM, Lean or similar methodology, preferably from process or food industry Habits of working practically and hands-on, with the ability to go out and verify in reality yourself Experience of driving projects and activities together with different functions, without necessarily having had formal personnel responsibility Previous experience of building new working methods or functions from scratch Good communication skills and easy to build trust with colleagues at different levels in the organization Education in engineering, production or equivalent Good knowledge of Swedish, in speech and writing As a person, you are: Driven and self-directed, used to taking initiative and seeing things through to goal Curious and analytical, but in a practical sense – you want to understand "why", not just measure it Good at building relationships and collaborating across functional boundaries Structured, but flexible when reality requires it Confident in challenging established working methods in a constructive way Have a good understanding of product quality and occupational health and safety requirements, and naturally weigh it in the improvements you drive What we offer A broad and central role with great personal responsibility Close collaboration with the entire organization, from the production floor to the management group Collective agreement and the security benefits it entails Placement: Långeberga, Helsingborg Reports to: Emma Jakobsson, COO Employment form: Full-time, permanent Start date: By agreement Application deadline: TBD Recruitment process We review applications on an ongoing basis, so do not wait with your application.
