You will primarily teach academic language use, academic writing, and study techniques, helping participants find their rhythm from memos to essays. What You Will Do In this role, you work closely with our course participants and colleagues, and you have the opportunity to influence both content and methods. You plan, conduct, and follow up on academic Swedish instruction with a focus on helping participants feel confident in their language use. - Plan, conduct, and evaluate academic Swedish instruction for adult learners - Support participants in academic writing, reference management, and language structure - Adapt instruction based on participants' level, needs, and learning goals - Work primarily in classroom instruction but also via distance learning for participants in other locations - Collaborate with colleagues on course design, pedagogical development, and shared projects - Participate in ongoing follow-up, documentation, and quality work within the program Requirements for Employment We believe you enjoy teaching adults, are confident in Swedish, and have experience with academic writing. You don't need to be perfect, but you do need to be curious, humble, and ready to develop together with us and our participants. - University degree in pedagogy (minimum 60 credits in the old system or 90 credits in the current system) or in Swedish or Swedish as a Second Language (minimum 60 or 90 credits in current system) - AND at least one (1) year of documented professional experience equivalent to at least 50% of full-time teaching Swedish at a level corresponding to Swedish 2 or Swedish as a Second Language 2, or teaching Swedish at a level corresponding to C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. This experience must not be more than five years old. Experience with employment-related assignments will be viewed as a merit in the selection process.
