We are looking for you who is a flight mechanic or flight technician and want to work with our unique operations where you can develop within target drones and unmanned aircraft. At the test site in Vidsel, which has access to Europe's largest test range over land, you will be able to contribute to Sweden's future and total defense. About the Position In your role as a flight technician with us, you will work at a workplace that is completely unique in its design. We have Europe's largest fleet of advanced UAVs and equipment of radar stations, optical systems, and telemetry systems. As a flight technician, you work focused on our flying target drone systems where you are responsible for service, repair, and preparation of the target drone systems within the section. Here you work closely with your colleagues in the hangar and together you are responsible for preparations, execution of tests, restoration, repair, and recovery of primarily flying objects. You will be faced with new problems and challenges while you must comply with the regulations that apply to flying objects, which means some creativity while regulations and manuals govern much of the work and process. The position is located in Vidsel. Travel on business occurs, both domestically and internationally. About You You are trained as a flight mechanic through either upper secondary school or vocational college. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing as well as a B driver's license. It is meritorious if you have experience in technical work. It is also an advantage if you have experience working within flight-related operations or have flight technician training. Personal qualities are of great importance to us. The test range is located in Lapland and encompasses a discontinued, well-guarded, low mountain area totaling 1,650 km². Here there is more than 60 years of experience in verification and validation, VoV, of military systems. The test site offers the Swedish Armed Forces and external customers the opportunity to test new weapons materials, train, and verify capabilities.
