ATS Bromma is part of the International Airports unit and provides air traffic control services for Stockholm Bromma Airport. Swedavia, which owns the airport, currently has an agreement with Stockholm City for operations through 2038. The air traffic controller position at Bromma offers great variety and dynamic traffic. Bromma handles traffic over Stockholm City and includes, among other things, extensive helicopter traffic to 3 hospitals. ATS Bromma currently has 9 air traffic controllers and we look forward to welcoming a new team member to our ATS. Your Role You will work as an Operational Air Traffic Controller within ATS Bromma's area of operations. Since the operation is regulated, you always take responsibility for staying updated and following applicable regulations and requirements. In your position as an operational air traffic controller at Bromma, you participate in scheduled activities, operational and training days, ATS meetings, and competency assurance programs. The role of an air traffic controller at LFV includes, among other things, serving as an instructor, both locally and at EPN and in LFV's training activities. We also use operational expertise in many different projects and activities, which means that work tasks alongside operational duties may become relevant. You prioritize flight safety and work to contribute to a good work environment. We are looking for you if you: Have or have had a valid air traffic controller certificate Possess or have recently possessed a valid Class 3 medical certificate Have good knowledge of both English and Swedish It is meritorious if you: Have or have had operational authorization at ATS Bromma Have experience working at an airport with complex airspace Have completed LFV TT TWR/APP or have knowledge that LFV considers equivalent Have completed mil-ground TWR/APP or have knowledge that LFV considers equivalent Competencies To fit in with us, you are enthusiastic and positive even in tough situations and can quickly adapt your behavior to new circumstances. Before employment, we conduct a security clearance that includes registry check, security interview, and drug test.
