Personal Assistant for Felicia in Sorunda, Part-Time

Hey there! My name is Felicia (called Flisan) and I'm 19 years old. I enjoy swimming, working out, taking wheelchair walks, people-watching, and listening to music. I'm expanding my support team and am looking for an additional assistant. I have a syndrome called Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. This means I have an intellectual disability, epilepsy (EP) that is under control, a heart condition, back issues, etc. Job Responsibilities: Help with all daily activities such as hygiene, getting dressed, feeding and administering medication through a feeding tube, as well as wheelchair walks, equine therapy, trips to the swimming pool for rehabilitation training, outings with family, and other indoor and outdoor activities. You should be comfortable in a school environment since I need to bring my assistant with me there. We're looking for an engaged, responsible, and cheerful woman who isn't hesitant to take initiative for activities and play. Good physical fitness is an advantage since there is some lifting involved in the work (assistive devices are available). It's important that you are calm and confident in your role and have great respect for privacy, as the workplace is largely in Flisan's home. The family consists of Flisan, her dad, and her younger sister. It's a plus if you have any experience with alternative communication, disabilities, and managing epilepsy under medical control, as well as being a good team member. Personal qualities are absolutely the most important! Onboarding takes place at the workplace. Position: Part-time approximately 50-60% with the possibility to work extra as needed Work hours are scheduled: 7 AM-7 PM on weekdays (2 shifts/week) Additional Information: God Assistans cares for all its personal assistants, naturally has a collective agreement and offers ongoing training and wellness contributions up to 4,000 SEK/year. As an assistant at God Assistans, you receive a fixed hourly base salary + holiday pay and possible on-call compensation. A collective agreement is in place.
