We are now looking for an hourly personal assistant for a 30-year-old man who lives in his own cottage on his parents' farm in Alingsås, surrounded by animals and nature. A driver's license and access to a car are required since the residence is outside public transportation. Driving is part of the job. About the Assignment The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support with his daily activities. On weekdays, he is at day activities from 09:00–15:00, and afterwards he enjoys participating in activities or cooking – a major interest. Weekends are often quieter and are often spent outdoors with walks or coffee breaks. Who Are We Looking For? You are confident, responsible, and can work independently. We would like to see that you are active, organized, and enjoy planning and carrying out activities. Experience with autism and epilepsy is a merit but not a requirement. What matters most is that you can create a sense of security, have a calm approach, can work with clear routines, and be structured. We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to build a good relationship while contributing to a stable and meaningful everyday life. About the Position Work hours vary, but weekday shifts are usually 15:15–08:55 or 15:15–21:15. Weekend shifts can be 09:00–15:00, 15:00–09:00, or overnight shifts. The work mainly involves evening and night shifts with some waiting time. In the morning, the man uses transportation services to his day activities. We would like to see that you are flexible and can work extra when needed.
