We are now seeking a part-time personal assistant for a 30-year-old man living in his own cottage on his parents' farm in Alingsås, surrounded by animals and nature. A driver's license and access to a car are required since the residence is located outside public transportation. Driving is part of the job. About the Assignment The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support in his daily functioning. On weekdays, he attends day activities from 09:00–15:00, and afterward he enjoys participating in activities or cooking – a major interest. Weekends are often quieter and are usually spent outdoors with walks or coffee breaks. Who Are We Looking For? You are confident, responsible, and can work independently. We prefer someone who is active, organized, and enjoys planning and carrying out activities. Experience with autism and epilepsy is a merit but not a requirement. What matters most is that you can create a sense of security, have a calm approach, can work with clear routines, and are structured. We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to build a good relationship while contributing to a stable and meaningful daily life. About the Position Working hours vary, but weekday shifts are usually 15:15–08:55 or 15:15–21:15. Weekend shifts can be 09:00–15:00, 15:00–09:00, or 24-hour shifts. The work mainly involves evening and night shifts with some waiting time. In the morning, the man uses transportation services to his day activities. We would appreciate it if you are flexible and can work extra when needed.
