We provide both general residential care and specialized dementia care, as well as a residential care unit with a Finnish focus. With us, you'll work in a vibrant workplace with beautiful and social spaces for both residents and staff – we have, among other things, a well-equipped activity room, café, sun room, gym, hairdresser's salon, and two lovely courtyards for celebrations and socializing. You'll be part of a strong and cross-functional team where you work closely with other nursing assistants, care assistants, team leaders, specialist nurses, and registered nurses. Our facility also has therapy dogs and several external partners who enrich the residents' days. Plus, we have a lot of fun together! Your future responsibilities Your main tasks will be to perform standard care and support services based on individual care and implementation plans. These include personal hygiene assistance, social support, meal assistance, and delegated medical tasks. You will also perform service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. As a nursing assistant, you will also serve as a primary care contact for one or more residents. This involves listening to individual needs, developing implementation plans, following up on the resident's services, and documenting in the current system. Working hours are scheduled for day shifts, evening shifts, and alternate weekends according to the schedule. Initially, you will be placed in your main department, but over time, you are expected to be able to work in other departments based on operational needs. Who are you? You are a trained nursing assistant with the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for protected professional title. You communicate well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Experience with and knowledge of elder care and dementia care are advantageous.
