The Child Support Guarantee Fund Administration announces a competition for a vacant employee position FINANCE DEPARTMENT FINANCIAL ANALYST The Child Support Guarantee Fund Administration provides child support from the state budget when a parent fails to support their child. Key Responsibilities: maintain, analyze economic and financial indicators of the institution; participate in budget development by preparing calculations and forecasts; monitor budget execution, analyze the appropriateness of financial resource use in relation to the plan and identify deviations, prepare regular reports for management; participate in ensuring child support collection process, conduct debt structure analysis and financial return analysis from measures implemented by the institution; analyze data in the Applicants and Debtors Register for improvement of the institution's internal processes and prepare reports for management; perform financial accounting; etc. in accordance with the job description. Requirements for Candidates: higher education (first level) in finance or economics; knowledge of relevant legal acts required for the position; very good or excellent Latvian language skills; computer skills working with MS Office – MS Word, MS Excel programs; precision and ability to work with large data volumes (data volume up to 100,000 units); analytical thinking, ability to work independently, take initiative and responsibility.
