Ministry of Economics reg. no. 90000086008 announces a competition for the position of Financial Specialist in the Budget Execution Division of the Strategic Planning and Resource Management Department. Requirements for candidates: - Higher education in a relevant field or incomplete higher education; - Experience in finance, accounting records, their control, and work in a financial specialist/accountant (balance sheet competent) position in a budget institution for at least two years; - Experience working with the Horizon RVS accounting system for at least two years; - Good skills in working with Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, Teams; - Good analytical and communication skills; - Excellent knowledge of Latvian language. Main job duties: - Management of claims/liabilities and revenue, management of business partner/client data; - Management of justification documents for long-term investments (intangible assets, fixed assets, financial investments), inventories, transfers, subsidies; - Management of inventory processes; - Management of international projects and various foreign financial assistance projects; - Participation in the preparation of budget, quarterly, and annual reports.
