Are you an experienced Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, or Senior Financial Controller who thrives in a broad role with significant responsibility? We are now seeking an Interim Finance Manager for an assignment with a multinational company. This is a consulting assignment where you will have the opportunity to take full responsibility for the Swedish finance function over an extended period. You will become a key person in the organization, working closely with both the local operations and the group's international finance function. About the Role As Interim Finance Manager, you are responsible for the Swedish finance function and ensure that accounting, reporting, and financial processes maintain high quality. The role is broad and combines operational work with leadership and business-oriented collaboration. You will lead a small finance team and work closely with the business while maintaining regular contact with Group Finance, external auditors, and advisors. The role also involves close collaboration with international colleagues, which means English is used daily. Start: Mid-October 2026 Assignment Duration: Through April/May 2028 Location: Köping; we welcome applications from candidates in Köping, Västerås, Arboga, Eskilstuna, Fagersta, Hallstahammar, Kungsör, and nearby areas for convenient commuting. Hybrid: at least three days per week on-site Consulting assignment through People of Finance. Examples of Responsibilities Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Prepare annual reports according to K3 Ensure correct group reporting Responsible for VAT, tax, and regulatory reporting Handle intercompany reconciliations and balance reconciliations Lead audits and ensure good internal controls Participate in improvement and development projects within the finance function Provide business support to operations and local management. What We're Looking For Several years of experience as Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, Financial Controller, or similar Strong technical expertise in Swedish accounting (K3) Experience with closings, annual reports, and group reporting Experience working in an international environment Comfortable working independently and taking full responsibility Fluent communication in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written Very strong Excel skills and preferably experience with Visma.
