Fiber Technician

Description:

As a fiber technician with us, you work with installation, service, and maintenance of fiber networks. You work with the entire process – from new installations and fiber splicing to service, troubleshooting, measurement, and documentation – with the goal of delivering reliable and sustainable solutions. The work takes place both independently and together with colleagues depending on the scope of the project. You have daily contact with customers, project managers, and other team members and become an important part of our work in delivering high quality in every assignment. Your work tasks include, among other things: Fiber splicing and fiber blowing Troubleshooting, service, and maintenance Customer installations and commissioning Fiber measurement, OTDR and dB measurements Installation of conduit and customer connections – from building networks to backbone networks Documentation and reportingAs a fiber technician with us, you work with installation, service, and maintenance of fiber networks.
