Your Workplace Fastighetsservice Väst and Öst are the two operational units of the property function, Fastighetsservice Väst in Mölnlycke and Fastighetsservice Öst in Landvetter, Hindås, Rävlanda and Hällingsjö. Together we are responsible for the municipality's properties and provide service to the municipality's core operations. Each operational unit consists of approximately 20 employees who are responsible for hundreds of properties, ranging from schools and preschools to elderly care homes, group housing and offices. We ensure that the municipality's properties are intact and functional through preventive work and case management. The property function has four units that work with property service, management and projects, as well as administrative management. We are part of the sector for technology and administrative support, which is the municipality's service sector. The sector's mission is to provide service to the municipality's core operations. The sector's functions provide support in the areas of property, IT, meal services, service, cleaning and security. We are now looking for a property technician for the Väst unit. In each unit, caretakers, property caretakers, property technicians, operations technicians, coordinators and managers work together. With different experiences and expertise, we help each other, both within the teams, in the unit and across the entire property function. Together we accomplish more! Your Assignment As a property technician with us, you will have a varied, meaningful job with a lot of personal responsibility and diverse tasks. You work independently but also collaborate daily with your colleagues to ensure the operation and maintenance of our properties. You are responsible for a number of properties and their technical installations such as heating, ventilation, regulatory requirements, locks and alarms, as well as large kitchen equipment. You perform ongoing preventive maintenance, fix errors, make repairs and handle incoming fault reports. Your role involves both practical tasks and contributing to a high level of service through your customer interaction. In this position, we would appreciate it if you could also be part of the property function's on-call team, which involves some work during inconvenient hours according to scheduling a few weeks per year. What is Required for the Position Requirements for the position: · Experience and education: Post-secondary education as a property technician, operations technician or equivalent field together with work experience. Alternatively, other relevant education and at least three years of work experience as a property technician, operations technician or similar work that the employer deems relevant. · Driver's License: Category B Meritorious: · Experience with technical on-call duties during inconvenient hours. To obtain employment, an excerpt from the Police's criminal record must be presented. An excerpt from the suspicion register may also be relevant depending on the position.
