WORK TASKS
As a building technician, you will, together with two other building technicians as well as a section manager and a building engineer, work with the operation, maintenance and development of our properties. You are responsible for the daily operation of the buildings' technical systems and for ongoing property maintenance.
An important part of the work is to optimize energy consumption, contribute to energy efficiency and create a good indoor environment. The position also includes interior and exterior maintenance, repairs, ongoing maintenance, fault reports, inspections, supervision and system administration.
You have continuous contact with internal customers, clients, contractors and suppliers. The work also involves simple property measures, such as furniture handling and de-icing.
You will be part of the Property and Logistics section at Växjö Energi, which serves all business areas within the Växjö Energi Group.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has worked several years as a building technician, property manager or equivalent, and who has experience with building technical systems.
You should have relevant education in building technology or other education that we consider equivalent. You should also have experience and/or training in the following areas: plumbing and heating, cooling systems, operation and maintenance of ventilation systems and control and regulation of these.
A class B driver's license is a requirement.
As a person, you should be independent, thorough and have a structured working method with a sense of order and organization. You should find it easy to build relationships, be service-minded and flexible in your contact with our employees and with our suppliers. We would like to see that you have an interest in renewable energy, urban planning and sustainability issues.
