About the position As a facilities manager at Humana, you play a central role in ensuring our residential properties and premises maintain high standards, are safe, and comfortable. Your primary work area will be around Mariestad, Lidköping, and Hova, though work at other locations in the region may occur. At the same time, you're part of a team where we help each other, cover for one another, and share knowledge. Your responsibilities No two days are alike. You plan your day independently by strategically prioritizing based on maintenance requests, inspections, rounds, and operational needs. The main focus is on practical craftsmanship to keep our properties in good condition. Examples of your work include: Repair and maintenance: Everything from carpentry work (e.g., replacing doors, trim, countertops) to basic painting and damage restoration Plumbing and technical work: Replacing faucets, toilets, traps, and ensuring heating functions properly Locks and doors: Adjusting doors, replacing lock cylinders and door closers Exterior maintenance: You ensure the outdoor environment is welcoming and safe through grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, leaf removal, and other gardening tasks Safety and regulatory compliance: You conduct fire safety inspections (SBA) and coordinate necessary inspections Projects and maintenance planning: Participate in maintenance planning, procurement, and projects to ensure progress Communication: Daily contact with operations managers, contractors, and partners regarding property matters and projects You report regularly to the Operations and Maintenance Manager and document your work digitally in our property management system. Who are you? To succeed in this role, you're self-driven and take initiative. You notice what needs to be done during your rounds and act proactively. You're service-oriented and professional when interacting with our operations managers and residents—you're our face to the outside world! Additionally, you're a social team player who contributes to a positive workplace atmosphere. We're looking for someone who feels comfortable with tools in hand and has broad practical knowledge. For this position, you must: have a valid driver's license (category B) have documented experience in facilities management and repair work have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate with operations staff and document in our systems have good computer skills for managing our digital maintenance request system It's advantageous if you: have knowledge of electrical work or plumbing Other information This is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period.
