We are now looking for a facilities manager for Hydro Extrusion in Vetlanda. In this role, you will be an important part of daily operations and work together with a colleague to ensure that facilities, installations, and other functions operate safely and efficiently. This position is a direct hire, but can also start as a consulting solution with the possibility of permanent placement. About the Role As a facilities manager, you will have a varied day where no two days need to be the same. You work with both planned maintenance initiatives and solving problems that arise along the way. Together with your colleague, you will plan and distribute the daily work. The role also involves many contact points within the operation, which means you need to be comfortable providing service, communicating with different people, and quickly adapting when the situation requires it. Your Responsibilities You will, among other things: - Perform ongoing inspections and preventative measures on ventilation systems. - Ensure that technical installations and supply systems function properly through monitoring and minor repairs. - Handle minor repairs and practical improvements in the facility's premises. - Plan and maintain the external facility environment. - Take responsibility for identifying and addressing issues that need fixing in daily operations. - Handle minor emergency situations and, if needed, reprioritize today's tasks. You have practical skills, are thorough in your work, and ensure that tasks are properly completed. Your Experience We would like to see that you have a three-year upper secondary education, for example in plumbing and property management. Previous experience in facilities management, technical operations, or similar is meriting. Since digital tools are part of the work, you need to have good computer skills. Experience with maintenance or property management systems, such as MaintMaster or IMS, is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is also meriting. Work may involve working at heights and using lifting equipment, skylift, and forklift. Relevant training and certification in these areas is therefore meriting.
