About the Position
As a property maintenance technician, you will become part of the property management department where you work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues and tenants. The role offers a broad and varied daily routine where you are responsible for planning and executing your work.
Your Responsibilities
In the role of property maintenance technician, you will have a broad and varied day-to-day experience working with both preventive maintenance and emergency measures in our properties. You are responsible for ensuring that operations, functionality, and environment maintain a high standard and that activities run smoothly for both colleagues and tenants.
The work includes ongoing repairs, troubleshooting, and improvement projects, where you often plan and prioritize your efforts independently. You work with various technical systems and actively contribute to creating a safe and well-functioning property environment. Part of the work is also digital, such as handling fault reports and documentation.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Work with installations, operation, and maintenance related to heating, ventilation, water, and sewage
- Perform repairs, renovations, and simple carpentry work
- Handle fault reports and follow up on and resolve problems in the properties
- Participate in the operation and supervision of technical systems such as sprinkler and fire alarm systems and compressors
- Conduct rounds to ensure that facilities and premises function as they should
- Manage waste handling, including sorting and handling of hazardous waste
In addition, external property maintenance is included, such as snow removal, sanding, grass cutting, and brush clearing, as well as some administration related to, for example, fire safety and documentation.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a practical technical background and experience working in property maintenance, facility management, or similar areas. You are accustomed to working with varied tasks and have a good understanding of how technical systems in properties function.
You need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, as the work involves some documentation and contact with various functions. The role also requires that you are comfortable with digital tools, as parts of the work are handled via systems and mobile phones. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required, and because the work is physically demanding, you need to have good physical ability.
We would like to see that you also have experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Electrical installations or troubleshooting
- HVAC technical systems
- Control and regulation technology
- Blueprint reading or CAD
It is a merit if you have experience in forklift operation or other practical aspects of property management, but the greatest weight is placed on your willingness to learn, your technical understanding, and your ability to take responsibility in your daily work.
